How do I select a brand detection model when uploading an ad?
Selecting the correct brand detection model during your video upload ensures that junbi accurately measures your brand visibility. You can choose your model directly from the upload screen based on the tagged labels next to each brand name.
The Strategic Value
Using the right detection model prevents the platform from missing critical branding moments in your video. For example, if your ad features an abstract brand symbol without any written text, running an iconic model ensures that visual asset is fully tracked. This level of precision ensures your Brand Attention diagnostics are reliable and actionable.
How to apply brand detection models
Follow these steps to choose and run the correct model on your video ad.
- Upload your video file on the main dashboard.
- Proceed to the ad details configuration step.
- Open the brand selection dropdown menu.
- Locate your brand name and look at the tagged labels next to it. These tags will show as Text-based, Iconic, or Custom.
- Select the brand configuration that matches your video creative. For ads where your visual symbol is the primary focus, select the option tagged Iconic. If your ad relies purely on a written wordmark, select the option tagged Text-based.
How to handle missing brands and errors
Because iconic and custom models require specialized training, changes and additions are managed directly by our team.
Requesting a missing brand
If your brand is not listed in the dropdown menu, or if you need a specialized custom model built to track unique assets, you must contact your Customer Success Manager. They will gather your assets and trigger the training process.
Reporting detection errors
Because iconic detection is currently in Beta, the model may occasionally miss a logo or display a false positive. If you spot a tracking error in your processed report, click the external error form link to submit a brief correction request to our engineering team.
💡 Pro Tip:
Choose the right tool for the job. Do not use iconic or custom detection if your ad only features your written brand name. Text-based detection is faster and highly optimized for wordmarks. Reserve iconic detection for creative cuts where your visual symbol or icon is the primary brand element on screen.
