Photoshop plugin
The expoze Photoshop plugin is an integration tool that lets you generate visual attention heatmaps directly inside Adobe Photoshop. It analyzes design layers on your canvas and predicts which elements, such as call to action buttons, headlines, logos, or product images, will capture human visual attention.
Strategic value
Switching between creative tools and external testing applications creates friction in the design process. Running predictive attention heatmaps directly within your canvas allows you to evaluate visual hierarchy and iterate on layouts instantly before publishing assets.
How to install and log in to the Photoshop plugin
- Open Adobe Photoshop.
- Click Plugins in the top navigation bar and select Browse Plugins.
- Type expoze.io into the search bar in the left menu.
- Click Install to add the plugin to your application.
-
Enter your account credentials in the plugin window and click Login, or click Sign in with Google.

How to generate and manage heatmaps in Photoshop
- Select the specific layer or design group you want to analyze.
- Select your target destination folder from the dropdown menu. If you do not have an existing folder, the plugin automatically creates a folder named Photoshop plugin.
- Click Create heatmap! to run the analysis.
- Review the predictive heatmap overlay that appears directly over your selected layer.
- Click Download result! to save the heatmap image locally, or export the newly created expoze.io heatmap layer using the Photoshop export tools.
-
Click Upload another if you want to test additional page sections or viewports.

💡Pro Tip
Keep in mind that analyzing each layer deducts one credit from your account balance. To maximize your credits, finalize layout positioning and typography before generating a heatmap, then open the web application for advanced diagnostic tools like drawing Areas of Interest (AOIs).
